Il fait partie du panth\u00e9on vodou c\u2019est un anc\u00eatre fondateur divinis\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le culte de SAKPATA fut introduit en pays Fon par le roi Agaja (1708-1732).<\/p>\n<p>Selon Pierre Fatumbi Verger, SAKPATA est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement appel\u00e9 le Vodun de la variole et des maladies contagieuses, mais il serait plus exact de le d\u00e9signer comme la divinit\u00e9 de la terre, la variole n\u2019\u00e9tant que la punition inflig\u00e9e par elle aux malfaiteurs et \u00e0 ceux qui lui ont manqu\u00e9 de respect.<\/p>\n<p>Sakpata est redoutable et dangereux \u00e0 prononcer, les populations l\u2019appellent plus volontiers AYINON, le propri\u00e9taire de la terre, celui qui g\u00e8re, gouverne le monde et rend la justice.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column
